Havenior was just an idea that turned into reality.
Assistant (Catan Homes)
Catan Homes is created from the last names of Cariñola and Tan, with “Homes” included to show our focus on residential properties.
During this phase, we help homeowners to manage their leads: answering calls for them, and carrying their hassles (for Rents only and in Mandaluyong CIty).
Locator (Catan Homes)
Web Map: This is where our website was born, “like google maps, but for residential properties” which allow homeowners to display their home with ease, and we’ll do the marketing.
Online Marketplace (Catan Homes –> Havenior)
This is where the Real Estate Marketplace started. What began as a simple web map gradually transformed into a full-featured marketplace platform, allowing us to offer a more dynamic and meaningful experience for users.
We also rename it to Havenior, reflecting a sense of belonging for everyone involved here, compared to Catan Homes.
Havenior comes from the word “Haven” meaning a safe place, which represents who we are—a warm and trusted space for the real estate marketplace. The suffix “ior” is used for comparatives, showing that when it comes to a safe real estate marketplace, we are better.

Online Marketplace Focused on Mid-Lower Level of Properties (Havenior)
After taking Reign’s advice, we realized that most platforms are already focused on high-level properties. Instead of competing in that crowded space, we decided to shift our attention toward middle-to-lower-level properties.
This also meant shifting our priority from brokers to homeowners who rent out middle-to-lower-level homes. (They still remain part of our market, but they’re no longer our main focus.)
From this shift, our advocacy was born, which is to help students find their ideal homes.
Rentals-Only Marketplace for Affordable Homes (Havenior)
We decided to focus only on Rentals in the Mid-to-lower Property Segment.
This direction allows us to stay true to our advocacy of helping the students to find their ideal homes, while also giving proper attention to a market that is often overlooked. It’s a focus that makes us stand out from other real estate marketplaces.
